What if my Package is Lost or Stolen?Updated a year ago

Once your order has been shipped and tracking information has been provided, Selkie is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. Once your package leaves our facility it becomes the responsibility of DHL, USPS, or UPS, please contact your shipping carrier to file a claim. 

We know how frustrating it is to have something happen to your order, so we’ve partnered with Route to offer added assurance that you’re supported, no matter what. We offer Route Package Protection with every order, which covers items/packages that are lost, stolen or damaged in transit. For orders under $100, the fee is $1.55. For orders over $100, the fee is 2.8% of your cart total. Route Package Protection is automatically added to your order, but you can remove it before placing your order if desired (Please note: If you choose to remove Route Package Protection, you accept that Selkie is not liable for items that are lost, stolen or damaged in transit). If your Route protected order ends up lost, damaged, or stolen, Route’s expert support team helps ensure that your order gets replaced or refunded as preferred. Claims will be reviewed for approval within 1-2 business days from filing, please note taxes and duties are non refundable.
